In the spirit of doing things that I have talked about doing for years, I finally went to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Yuletide concert in the downtown Circle Theatre. This year the co-hosts are Angela Brown and Ben Crawford. Both have wonderful singing voices. I love the music and the colorful costumes worn by all of the dancers. A highlight treat is having another opportunity to hear the string trio, Time for Three. I thought all of the music would be secular but sacred music is performed as well.
The Circle Theatre is such a lovely venue any time of the year and looks especially festive decorated for Christmas. I don’t know if this will become a tradition but I hope to attend another Yuletide Celebration in the future and recommend this concert along with the Indiana Repertory Theatre adaptation of Dicken’s Christmas Carol.
