In Midwest Living magazine, I learn that Indianapolis has a meadery in Fountain Square. So, after our tour of the City Market Catacombs (New Thing #34), we head to Fountain Square and the New Day craft meadery. We share a flight to sample 3 ciders and 5 meads.
The flavors are interesting although some are very sweet. We both like the South Cider which is traditional so we buy a growler of that. We also take home a growler of the Rethinker which is a dry hopped blueberry mead.
It turns out that they are addictive and we will be returning to refill our growlers!
